It is the most intense and aggressive lawn; its leaves are not very thin but they are very wear tolerant. It has an enormous capacity of restoring the lawn when it is considerably warm and shows empty patches. This species has two disadvantages: very slow growth and considerably long winter vegetation stop. In winter it will stay brown for a longer or shorter time depending on temperature.
